Free Film Screening - "Plaza de la Soledad"

Enjoy a free screening of "Plaza de la Soledad," directed by Maya Goded

Maya Goded explores the lives of marginalized communities. Her art delves into themes of female sexuality, gender violence and the resilience of women defending their territories against power and control. Her work has garnered international acclaim, including such prestigious awards as the National Geographic Storytelling Fellowship, and she received a Guggenheim Fellowship for Latin American Artists in 2018. Her documentary, “Plaza de la Soledad,” premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and earned accolades worldwide:
